Very friendly and helpful staff, delightful room, very clean, nice grounds.
Cigarette butts at the entrance to the Hotel not cleaned up for 36 hours after a Saturday wedding
The hotel had extremely helpful staff, the hotel was very comfortable and good value for money, We will definately stay there again
Location to m25
Bar shut at 2330 even if you were resident and with being 10-15 mins in a car from nearest shp thats a bit of a joke
very pleasant and a friendly hotel. Lovely setting with good views.Nice hotel to stay in. Good location for a trip into london city and wembley stadium.
The cooked breakfastcould of been better.
Room was good & airy as windows could be opened fully. Lovely old world luxury feel of lobby.
Long walk to our room involving 43 steps, although we were offered help with our luggage we didn't realise just how far it was going to be, so being independant types declined the help. Buffet style breakfast not appropriate in the beautiful dining area.
The room was very pleasant decorated beautifully with patio doors leading to the lawns
Where do I start? We arrived very late and were very tired. Our key wasn't ready and the gentleman behind reception took an age to sort it out and check us in. He pointed to where our room was but didn't tell us the number or ask us if we would like to add on breakfast. The room had an interconnecting door which allowed us to hear the drunken antics of the girls next door at 2 o'clock in the morning! The bath towels had someone else's mascara on and had been folded up and reused! I didn't complain in the morning because we didn't pay a great deal and just wanted to get out and go home! But I should have from the moment we entered our room! Disappointing to say the least!
The fact that I paid when checking out £59 but had to chase for the rest of the week the pre authorisation £214 frozen in my bank account
The Hotel was very quiet and peaceful. Best of all, our room was spotlessly clean and the beds extremely comfortable. The service was good apart from the fact that we did not get our wakeup call as requested. This could have caused a problem had not my daughter set the alarm on her mobile phone, as I was due at the local Orthopaedic Hospital for an operation at 7a.m.
The fact that there is no lift. Also our room, which was downstairs, was chilly and rather dark as it was overshadowed by trees. The hotel is not served immediately by public transport, the bus and train being approx. a 10-15 min walk. The taxi service seemed a little sparse, but to be fair, we did arrive during the evening rush hour.
The cleanliness of the rooms was excellent the best I have had in a hotel chain class -staff were friendly and it was so quiet -not sure if there was a wedding reception on if the noise would be a problem but we certainly had a Very good night sleep, late check out and comfortable room
The paths in the garden were overun with weeds a liitle bit of tidying up would have made a much nicer view in a lovely garden -
Staff were very attentive and helpful even though on one of my three nights at the hotel I had to leave at 5.00 am and did not arrive back until 2.30 am. Staff at reception and in the bar were friendly and helpful.
The setting of the hotel is excellent. Gorgeous tudor mansion set is absolutely fantastic gardens and really close to central london
Sme of the staff within the hotel appeared to require additional training and be on the ball a bit more.
Everything! Staff was so kind, great room, out of london but easy to get there. Great restaurant and incredible garden
The staff are very helpful and friendly. A great place to stay if you like peace and quiet, yet only a few miles from central London. The food is excellent.
Very helpful reception, modern rooms, very theatrical entrance and dining room. Free parking
Food tasted good but was expensive and lack of choice for room service.
The location and setting was very nice, the rooms were okay, but the restaurant was absolutely amazing.
If you cannot climb stairs, this hotel is not for you as it's situated and spread over a little hill. Not too many though.
